This album is a rare insight into what was going on in Yorkshire in the late 1980's

Trawling through my old vinyl collection I have discovered a little gem. It is not a fantastic album (it could be described as awful) but it does capture the spirit of 'homemade music'...

Notes:	This Album was recoded in a basement in Burlington Road, Beeston, Leeds called the Dungeon Studio. All the tracks were produced and engineered by Martin Howard and distributed by Red Rhino/Cartel. Side A is called ‘Side Extreme' and Side B is called ‘Side Meaty'. The track by ‘The Keatons' is misspelt on the album cover, it should be ‘Heat Struck Dense'. There was also a spelling mistake on ‘The Legendary Len Liggins' song title too – it should have been ‘Len Liggins' 114th Dream'.

Historically a part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, Leeds can trace its recorded history to the 5th century when the Kingdom of Elmet was covered by the forest of "Loidis". Leeds and has always been a center of great music.From being a compact market town in the valley of the River Aire in the 16th century Leeds expanded and absorbed its surrounding villages to form a highly populated urban center by the mid-20th century.
