To celebrate the start of summer and the (sporadic) sunshine, The Beach Hut is currently on special offer and available to download onto your Kindle/iPad/whatever for £1.99.

The Long Weekend, which is out on 5 July. It's about the owners and guests at The Townhouse by the Sea, a fictional boutique hotel in Cornwall, and their adventures over one sunny summer weekend. You'll be surprised what they can get up to in such a short space of time.

The photo below was the inspiration for the book - although the beach huts at Everdene are slightly larger and more luxurious - call it artistic license!
